第四届中国“俱乐部杯”帆船挑战赛所有参赛船只适用国际帆船联合会(ISAF)规则第20条条款-广告标识,船只想在船体、帆和桅杆上做广告需在报名的同时提交国家广告发布授权的复印件。船只上做的广告必须符合中华人民共和国广告法,亦不能与比赛赞助商有任何抵触。组织机构有权拒绝任何违反此规例的船只参加比赛。
所有参赛队员都应完全对自己负责任。对于比赛前后及期间的任何物资的损失或人身伤害或死亡,赞助商、组委会、官员和工作人员将不负任何责任。所有参赛人员应自行购买人身意外保险。

Notice of Race
1. Rules
1.1 The event will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008.
1.2 Appendix C Match Racing Rules of RRS 2005-2008.
1.3 No national authority prescriptions will apply.
1.4 Sailing Instructions of 2008 China Club Challenge Match.
1.5 If there is a conflict between languages the Chinese text will take the precedence.
2. Advertising
2008 China Club Challenge Match is designated as a Category C event under ISAF Regulation 20-Advertising Code. Boats intending to display their own Cat C advertising on hulls, sails or spars shall submit a copy of their national authority advertising license, if applicable, at the time of their entry. No conflict with the event sponsor’s interest and the organizing committee shall reject the application against such above.
Boats shall display the event Sponsor’s advertising on the forward area of their bows if so required by the race committee under Regulation 20.
3. Organizing Authority
3.1 Organized by the Chinese Yachting Association and Xiaman Municipal City Government
3.2 Undertaken by Xiamen Sports Federation, Xiameng Yachting Association and IRONROCK Sailing Club
4.Eligibility and Entry
4.1 Eligibility
4.1.1 Chinese sailing clubs or water sports club
4.1.2 Sailing club organized by expats in China
4.1.3 Obeying the rules and regulations of the event
4.1.4 Overall weight of crew members is no more than 650kg or 8 person
4.2 Entry
The completed entry form, along with the fee detailed below, should be returned to the organizing committee of 2008 China Club Challenge Match by 2400, Sep.20th, 2008. Late entry is accepted afterwards.

5.Fees
5.1 Entry:1000RMB (Extra 1000RMB for the late entry)

(boats are used for free in the final and challenge match)

(Refundable if the boat assigned is in good shape after the event)
6.Qualifier, Round-robin and Club Challenge Match
6.1 The event is composed of qualifier, round-robin and club challenge match.

8. Venue

9. Boats
9.1 The regatta will be raced on One Design Class Flying Tiger 10
9.2 The competitors shall either race their own boats which need to be measured before the race or charter the boats provided and by the organizing committee.
10.Sailing Instructions
Sailing Instructions will be sent to all competing teams via email after 2008-9-25 and the hard copy is available at the organizing committee when you arrive and register.
11.Protest Committee and Umpire
11.1 Decisions of the protest committee will be final as provided in rule 70.4.
11.2 Matches shall be umpired.
12.Scoring
12.1 The scoring system for the qualifier races will be the Low Point System of RRS Appendix A
12.2 RRS Appendix C10 scoring system will apply to round-robin and club challenge match.
13.Prize
13.1 Perpetual trophy will be awarded to the winning team of the club challenge match and be kept till the next event.
13.2 A new challenge’s trophy will be awarded to the team which wins the right to challenge.
14.Radio Communication
A boat shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor receive radio communications not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile telephones.
15.Practice
Please clarify the time and date of the practice planned by the team. The schedule will be coordinated by the organizing committee and posted on the website.
16.Disclaimer of Liability
Competitors participate in the event entirely at their own risk. The organizing authority, sponsors, race officials and employee of the event will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after the event. It is suggested to approach the valid third-party liability insurance.
